Experience Works Mobile is an employment program designed to guide mature workers, aged 50 to 64 in establishing a solid path to meaningful employment. In the current climate of lower unemployment rates and higher labour demands, there is a need to increase the participation of older workers in the workforce.
This full time, six week program will assist unemployed participants to return to work by providing combination of innovative services and resources, through group sessions and one-to-one coaching. Included are workshop activities relating to career exploration and job search, written exercises, group discussion, interactivity, guest speakers, short-term skills training and job shadowing opportunities.
The start date for the next intake is September 2008. An assessment and referral can be made through the Sunshine Coast Employment Centre.
Call 604 885-7443 to make an appointment with an Employment Coach to discuss your best options for supporting your return to work! Interviews for selection will follow.
Employers are encouraged to contact Maureen, program coordinator for the Sunshine Coast, for information on how your business can benefit from the Experience Works program. Call Maureen at 604 989-1782.
Experience Works Mobile is an initiative of Ethos Career Management Group in partnership with m magas & associates inc.
